Program Description

Long Island Boomers ("we," "us," or "our") operates a text-message (SMS) program to send players and members transactional and informational messages related to volleyball tournaments, league play, Open Court sessions, and other Long Island Boomers activities.

Messages may include registration confirmations, schedule reminders, event updates, and announcements.

How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive text messages from us by:

• Checking the "Text-message updates" consent box on your player profile page at li-boomers.club/profile and saving your profile.

By opting in, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Long Island Boomers at the mobile number you provide. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or registration.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your registrations and activity with Long Island Boomers. You may receive messages before and after tournament or league events, when session details change, or when important announcements are made.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for text messages and data usage may be charged by your mobile carrier. Long Island Boomers does not charge any fee for text messages. Contact your mobile carrier for details about your plan.

How to Opt Out (STOP)

You may opt out of receiving text messages from us at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. After we receive your opt-out request, we will send you one final confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent to that number.

You may also opt out by unchecking the text-message consent box on your profile page and saving your changes.

How to Get Help (HELP)

Reply HELP to any text message from us to receive assistance. You may also contact us directly at help@li-boomers.club.

No Sharing of Mobile Numbers

We do not sell, rent, share, or transfer your mobile phone number to third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Your mobile number may be shared only with our messaging service provider (Twilio) solely for the purpose of delivering messages on our behalf, and only with your consent.

Supported Carriers

Our text messaging program is available on most major US carriers, including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, U.S. Cellular, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Privacy

Your use of our text messaging program is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
